Norman L. Donelson, 74, Greencastle, formerly of Indianapolis died Tuesday in Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle.  An Indianapolis native, he lived here until 1947. He had been a pharmaceutical salesman for Abbott and Lederie laboratories. He was owner of Donelson's Pharmacy at Greencastle from 1947 to 1973. He was graduated in 1929 from the Indianapolis College of Pharmacy now a part of Butler University. He had been an elder, deacon, trustee and chairman of the board of First Christian Church at Greencastle. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Greencastle Developments Corp.  He was a former member of the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Elks Lodge.  He also had served as chairman of the Putnam County Heart Association. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday in Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home in Greencastle. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include his wife, Ruth M. Ebner Donelson and three daughters, Marilyn Jo Brian and Janet Lou and Deborah Lynn Donelson. -- kbz
